Gears of War: Judgment neemt je terug naar de gebeurtenissen die voorafgingen aan de originele ‘Gears of War’-trilogie, de onmiddellijke nasleep van Emergence Day — de allesbepalende gebeurtenis voor het ‘Gears of War’-universum. Volg Kilo Squad onder leiding van Damon Baird en Augustus ‘Cole Train’ Cole in hun strijd om de stad Halvo Bay te beschermen tegen een niet te stoppen vijand in de meest intense ‘Gears’-editie ooit.

Gears of War: Judgment has two new multiplayer modes, OverRun and Free-for-All. The series’ trademark feature, ‘Down but Not Out’, is no longer in the game, resulting in the absence of executions. The game has eight maps (four of which are exclusive to OverRun and four of which are exclusive to COG versus COG) and four game modes.
